  • can u do a review on milo and otis hahahahah because i think that movie has the greatest narrator ever. It was my favorite movie when i was little..and i now own a pug.

charlottes web was on my list of favorites too whhen i was little.

  • haaaa! u r hilarious! H I L A R I O U S!! wait..did I spell it rigth? i dont know...me no speak english

  • It's more like a summary of the movie..and what's the point of watching it now that you told ous everything that's gonna happen, nevermind, sounds boring anyway :P

  • Katie, You should totally review "The Gnome-Mobile" next week!!!

  • "he blows up... not blows up but bling blowing up, he's cooooo."

    loves it.

  • omg did you cut your hair?? looks awesome! xx

  • I have no idea what happened at 2:05 but I loved it and I want more.

  • I watched that film when I was little! I remember I liked it cos it had the voice of Endora from Bewitched.

  • I love that movie, I always have, and I love your singing voice.

  • I LOVE the movies you are choosing for this channel K80. I hate spiders, but watching this as a child, when Charlotte died I totally cried!

Oh and keep up the great potty mouth reviews...wouldn't want 'em any other way : )

  • You're crazy today? Just on Thursday you where crazy? Are you sure about that?

  • you do know that hanna barbara isn't a chick right? hanna barbara productions was run by William Hanna & Joseph Barbara, who happens to be the nephew of the late great Chuck Jones

  • So was the magic of Hedi to late a film for you to have seen.

  • aww split second of simon. =:)

  • I sorta love how excited you are about that movie. It is definitely an amazing one. It's one of the defining classics of my childhood. I don't think the animation is like Disney status by any means, but I love it. It has a homey feeling.

And definitely do NOT watch your language like the other dude said. Be you!

    **Check out my short films!**

  • good review but please watch the language. thanks.

  • i remember the only thing i got out of this movie in the 2nd grade was learning the word "RADIANT"

  • "were not gonna kill that mother fuckin pig!" The classics never die!

  • DUDE. This was the movie of my childhood. My favourite part was when Templeton goes nuts and the carnival-type-thing.

  • So..... how does an amazing writing spider make the pig famous? Is it me or is that a plothole in itself?

  • It was sad at the end with Charlotte dying and her kids going away.

  • glad you found a regular outlet for your ranting | silliness | editing. Wilbur goes to SXSW ...

  • "you'll love it.... well, it'll be OK"..... lol!

I actually look forward to Thursdays now because of this.

  • The old school version was awesome... easily a classic.

  • You have another channel?

Wow, you should put some videos there some time!

  • I never really understood why the spider died,

but I refuse to find out.

    I actually hated the pig,

    but that spider was awesome

  • "We're not gonna kill this motherfuckin' pig." I loved that part in the uncut version. ;)

  • Charlotte's Web, Babe, and Animal Farm. I just blend all these stories together.

  • ooh ooh, the first roughcuts video that ive actually seen the movie and know what your talking about!

  • I love Templeton

  • I use to watch this movie like 10 years ago when I was a kid, and I always cried when Charlotte died. XD

  • It's a 70s movie. One of the movies I watched as a kid & my teacher read the book to us. It's a treasure. I hope you get a good response from youtubers in this day & age. Do they love it? I do!!

    z')

  • She falls in love with the pig? - So Lopiglita then :)

Great as always Katie, though i'd like to see some new videos of your regular vlogs, also.

Then Thursdays, would be even awesomer!

(Yes, know technically that should read "more awesome"). :D

  • Hell yes, this is the only Charlotte's web I will accept. Watched this so many times as a little kid.

  • i occasionally remember the geese that talked repeating her syllables.

  • I kid you not, I spent the first 5 years of my life truly believing that I had an imaginary friend named Wilbur the pig.

  • you got a haircut didnt you?

  • LMFAOOOOOOOOOOOOO

that was such a great video.

    LMFAOOO

we believe in the pig and hookanhooo

    lmfaoooooooo

    your singing is amazing.

oh and sometimes i think you could be a lesbian

    but idk.

5 stars for camo pants? chyeahh!

  • that was my favorite book/movie

  • I remember watching that when I was a kid. Now I'm all nostalgic!

  • hahaha...you are my favorite. soooouupp and crackeerrrzz

  • i love that movie! (the cartoon) : )

  • "It's okay!"

    Bwah.

  • Check it out because it's okay. lol Too cute.

  • i could swear i heard you say "soup and grey goose" except then i realized you said crackers.

  • What if you're sick as in disturbed? Is it good for that?

  • No. It's a dangerous film in that case.

  • Katie all I have to say is, "What the fuck?"

  • Nice, saw that a couple of times. It was neato.

  • Comment removed

  • Hello,K80,

If it were up to me,the economics of turning Wibur into sausage links for my breakfast would outweigh the glory of a 4H ribbon.

    And that spider,

    can you spell,

    RAID??

  • lol. i dont even like sausage, but I like bacon.

  • 6 degrees of makin' Kevin's bacon...

  • The book and this movie are both really good.

I have not seen the real version and I probably won't. Why mess with a good thing?

  • I saw this film as part of a children's birthday party. I am embarrassed myself by crying my eyes out.

(Speaking of your children's retro theme, what about the wickedly funny "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang"?)

  • I second the call for "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang". Which has some strange subversive elements to it...

  • yes "Chitty Chitty Bang Bang" is a little odd, but in the end its a good movie...for the most part lol

  • Charlottes Wed was the first book I ever read by myself. The book mustve been my mothers because it was a first edition and the pages are now a brownish color and its practically falling apart.

Since reading Ive never eaten a pig product (that I knew was a pig product) sometimes my parents didnt tell me what I was eating till afterwards...horrible, I know.

  • i remember Charlotte's web; not the story or the book, but listening to my teacher reading it in the third grade and having no idea what she was saying: i had just started learning English back then and this was the first story i heard in English. i guess it has a unique place in my heart, but not for any conventional reason.

  • I have never read Charlotte's Web or seen any incarnations of the movie.

    Childhood fail.

But I'm ready to be OK'd by the 70's version!

  • why do you have to do child films?

  • Some films were made to be watched only when sick. Tremors for example - it's pure celluloid soup!

  • It's Thursday??? I don't know where the fuck I am.

  • Charlotte's web is one of my favourite children's movie

i was very sad when Charlotte died, when I was younger.

I imagine if I watched it again I'd still be sad.

  • Great review of a great story - I'm gonna watch it again real soon.

    GREAT couch dancing too, haha!

  • well we watched it like every damn friday at school so im pretty sick of it but its decent

  • Seek out "Watership down". one of my gavourite films of all time

  • I love Charlotte's Web! Great memories!

  • this was my favorite movie growing up!

  • Your dog should have been in the video!

  • all i can remember from watching it when i was little was the rat having a big feast and singing this song that goes.. smorgasbord, smorgasbord, smorgasbord!

  • oh man thats like one of those movies that I was bought up on...It was like always on at christmas when I was a little kid...Shame that they decided all these new dreamworks films were better...Not for christmas it'l like prime old film watching time lol

  • The songs make it for me.

I watched this movie over and over when I was a kid.

    I love it so much!

  • Oh lawdy how I love the old one :D

  • omg, love ure vids. i'm not so sure i should rent this, u've kind of scared me of it....

  • i didn't really appreciate this movie when i was little. but i've found as i've grown older, i've been able to connect with those movies more now. probably because power rangers doesn't rule my world anymore lol.

weird thing is i mentioned charlotte's web in my 2D design class just yesterday for some reason. anyways, great review K80 ^_^

  • I loved the movie when I was young and probably still do. However, viewing it while ill would now make me worry that I was a host for baby spiders.

  • cra008iuiop

  • nice, but no response to Travis? I was looking forward to light hearted banter

  • haha katie i love your random use of cursing

"were not gonna kill that mother fuckin pig!"

"not that dakota fanning, 2006 bullshit!"

    lol

  • yess, i used to watch this video over and over again when i was a little kid! awesome

  • how did Charlotte have children? who hit that? i loved that movie

  • roll out them classics, girl. i think we grew up together;)

i may have cried if you dropped the secret of nimh.

  • I loved this as a kid.

  • I've seen this (Like when I was 5 or something) and I don't remember much about it but I remember that it was one of those heartwarming classics.

  • I watched this years ago :) It's awesome

  • Y'know in the 70's thy had things called books *gasp*, yes I said the B-word. Anyhoo, me and my posse read the book in class. After reading the book, I couldn't bear to watch the movie. The Hollywood treatment y'now, It's run by a big Eastern Syndicate y'now.

  • I love Charlotte`s Web I've seen this maybe 20 times thanks to my younger sisters.

  • i was a stupid child

and did not understand the story when i was younger

    but now i know

  • Well...I'm convinced lol

  • charlottes web has always been my favorite childrens book ^^
