We have a program at our school called Rachels Challenge. We watched a video about her andfound some very disturbing things. She always knew she was going to die young. She wrote it on the back of her dresser, wrote it in her diary, and told her friends and family so.

Valeen Schnurr said "Oh my God" in panic. Dylan came up to her and asked "do you believe in God?" She struggled with her answer, trying to get it 'right'.She said no but landed on a yes.He asked her why,she replied that it was because thats what her family believed.He laughed and while walking away said "God is gay".She survived.

i read the story about this song. itz about the columbine high school massacare in 1999. the guy who was shooting asked rachel and cassie if they believed in god. they said yes knowing what would happen. they died for standing up to what they believed in. may they rest in peace.

@iknownodeath132 No, It was only Cassie who died for her beliefs. Rachel was just at the wrong place and time, she was sitting at a bench with her friend and she was shot by Eric who was a great distance from her. (I did a long essay on the shooting)

I don't think people outside of Christianity/Catholism understand why she died for God. When you are a true believer, you love God more than you love life. You would do anything for God, because Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice for us. I understand it that Atheists just don't (and never will) understand the devotion we have for our creater, but if it were me in that situation, I would have said YES! because I love God more than anyone else. Rachel knew from a young age that she was going to die young, and she did. It's sad Cassie and her had to die like this. And some people ask where was God when this happened, he was with them the whole time, I think the reason God let them die is because he had a bigger plan for them... And that was heaven , it was time to take them home. And I bet because Cassie and Rachel died for their beliefs, that a lot of people from their school got saved. God has a reason for everything! :)

Ok people listen. There are two version of Cassie in acoustic. There is this one, Cassie(done on acoustic) and Cassie (acoustic). This version was a Rolling Stones video, where she screams and recorded live, and played only by Sameer. Cassie Acoustic, the one on the album was recorded in a studio, is more slow, includes the whole band, and has a different chorus.
Both are equally as amazing and available for purchase on Rhapsody.

It doesn't matter if you're a Christian or not, everyone is afraid of dying, to know where you're going when you do die is a peace so few have. They can call God our crutch, and how it's dumb to die for religion and that person would still be alive. But why can't we return the favor, He did die for us, didn't He? it is sad how these girls died but why they died is sadder when faced with staying true to there religion and confessing there belief in god or dying they chose to die for there god. where was "god" when these girls died i think religion is just a way for people to gain some security when they have "sinned" or if they fear death. now this is not to say that this was not a tragic event but if they had chosen life instead of god they might still be here and IF heaven exists i hope they are there

We have a program at our school called Rachels Challenge. We watched a video about her andfound some very disturbing things. She always knew she was going to die young. She wrote it on the back of her dresser, wrote it in her diary, and told her friends and family so.
