Seriously, the guitar licks sound just like Robbie Robertson, and I can just imagine and hear Rick Danko singing these lyrics.

I bought "The Forgetten Arm," the album that features this song. I really love it, and you're all right, it's very different from her 80s stuff. It's actually a concept album that drew inspiration from 70s folk.

This is my favourite track from the forgotten arm CD ! I had only heard her backing Rush on time stands still so I thought give her a listen on her own so I borrowed The forgotten arm and loved the whole cd but this is a stand out track !

You're right about Rush! That was great. If you enjoyed the Forgotten Arm, check out Lost In Space, too. She's also very good friends with director P.T. Anderson, and wrote most of the soundtrack for his movie, "Magnolia," and the songs are phenomenal. "Save Me" was up for an Oscar that year.
