  • Was this while they opened for Alanis Morisette? I wish Ed sang backup in the lives of the OKC version, he sounds great in this one.

  • reminds me a lot of joy division

  • Thanks for posting. It's neat to see how this evolved into the mammoth track on OK Computer.

  • Am I alone in thinking this is better than the album version?

  • it sounds like knives at the start. The euphoric/ethereal sound of the album version is lost to a sinister dangerous vibe. Still rocks balls though

  • Tom Yorke is a genius

  • Even though it sounds really "weird", this was the first step of my favorite radiohead's song of all time :') thanks for having existed Radiohead.

  • this version is evil sounding

  • kinda has more of a minor chord feel to it. i like the differences actually but the album version is one of my favorite songs of all time.

  • let down became my favourite all time radiohead song and still gives me shivers sometimes ever since the 1st time when i was 16 (8yrs ago) amazing song, thanks for this early version.

  • how earlier is this?

  • Wow. This was a nice one! Not even a demo quality - they were probably just testing it for the very first time. You can only imagine how this sketchy 'patchwork' developed into a masterpiece of modern music.
