@joelberggen1,would you really dance to "Pocket Calculator" of 2 years later?Keeping the lyrics stripped right down in Hot on the Heels as though a sample(not sure how they actually produced it)is danceable-dancing to mundanities in German is not sexy,dont get me wrong i love Kraftwerk for their music but none of their vocal sounds do anything for me."Autobahn"became positively boring at the time of release as it did get quite alot of radio exposure.ps"silly goose"thats 1 from the history books!

@joelberggren1,i was well aware of Kraftwerk as a teenager so iam aware the sounds themselves are nothing new though i do not know of a Kraftwerk track from pre79 that has this tempo or structure...i can dance to this original version of "Hot on the Heels",there is no Kraftwerk track i could dance to from this period which is why "Hot on the Heels" deserves a "techno" mention where as Krafwerk does not(though admittedly in terms of "techno" influence they laid more basic foundation)..
