If you knew anything about writing a story, you would have seen the signs of what was coming in FFX. And since MGS3 is actually a prequel, then you already know what events transpire.

Everyone feels differently, whether MGS3 or FFX (gag me) are sadder or not is up to someone to decide, just cause some people feel more for this scene than those 2 doesn't mean you should come out like a self righteous prick and call other people morons for having different thoughts
Go enjoy those moments, but stay the fuck out of how they might feel for Isara and trying to tell us what's sad and what's not

Granted these are two different types of grief, MGS and FFX are like watching a loved one die from cancer, you accept the inevitable but are still saddened when it happens. VC is like losing someone in a car accident, sudden and unexpected.

After all, no matter what side you are on, you are still human. They all had a home, loved their families, fucked their wives, and yet they still die. Why should any of us experience any different put in the same situation?

I think this is amazing we play it a lot during the winter with my mum and dad they are very good at it. perfectly free for my ps3 from here - 115 games . com they have literally thousands I couldnt beleive that they are all free too oh also 1:10 - 3:50 was cool
I don't know how or why, but for some reason when i first saw Isara, i knew that she was going to die. I don't know where that feeling came from, i just... knew.
Sometimes whenever you're playing a game, the very first time you see a particular charater, you almost immediately know that later on in the game, that they're going to die.
But even so, when i did see her die i just... dropped the controller. I knew it was coming, but i was still surprised.
I don't know if this happened to anyone else as I don't know the exact criteria for the Aged Gentleman to teach you a new order, whether it's class levels or story progression or something else entirely, but when I went to the war cemetery after her death, he offered to teach me "Heal All". Damn kick in the stomach if there ever was one :'(
During Isara's death scene, my thoughts were "where's the &*^%ing medic?!". Video games don't usually affect me, but Isara's death and the graveyard scene after it left me with tear's running down my face.
Just a question, but, if the sniper had the drop on all of them, why did he aim for Isara, who has no military high rank or importance other than being a mechanic, rather than someone else, like Welkin, who was sitting on top of a tank and is the (infamous to the Empire) commander of Squad 7?
Maybe being a Darcsen has something to do with it...

2. Out of all the heavily armed, dangerous looking people there, why did the sniper take the target that was the least of a threat? Tactical discrepancies.

I think this would have to be my favorite mission. The tactical use of the smoke grenades, the flanking manuever near the end, and the fact that this is Isara's final mission. :'(
This hella reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist for some reason (prob. cause of the WW2 style weaponry, no real air support, super powered soldiers aka Alchemist of FMA and Valkyria of VC).
For some reason I didn't cry ( I was dry eyed in Hughes death and Passion of the Christ) but i felt sad. Sorta wish I was there to take the blow or something (wouldn't we all T_T) but then they'll be crying over my death.

stupid Imps why did they have to kill Isara. I wish i was there to save her. She was one of my favorites in this game. My number 1 favorite in this game. She was a very cute girl and i loved her(kinda weird ya know).
The writers did a really good job in this story, yet it is a shame that such a great character like Isara died. She still had plenty to do in her life. Great work sega for connecting us so deeply in the story.
When Isara got shot it shocked the hell out of me, and the fact that she and Welkin will never be able to see the sky together makes me furious and extremely sad at the same time.

stupidest thing about this is how when in gameplay u get shot about 12 times, blown by anti tank and still be alive or be wounded and get revived by the medic and in the cutscenes she got shot once by a stinkin low damage giving scout and die permanantly

Damn imperials...Whos the bastard responsible for that sneak attack? She wasn't even armed and they already lost to Welkin already!! Why the hell did they do that?!?
However, although she was unarmed at the time, Isara was still a combatant. Therefor the Imperial troops didn't really violated any wartime laws of ethics by killing her.
This part still bums me out. Isara was so lovable.

I think this would have to be my favorite mission. The tactical use of the smoke grenades, the flanking manuever near the end, and the fact that this is Isara's final mission. :'(

This hella reminds me of Fullmetal Alchemist for some reason (prob. cause of the WW2 style weaponry, no real air support, super powered soldiers aka Alchemist of FMA and Valkyria of VC).
For some reason I didn't cry ( I was dry eyed in Hughes death and Passion of the Christ) but i felt sad. Sorta wish I was there to take the blow or something (wouldn't we all T_T) but then they'll be crying over my death.

The writers did a really good job in this story, yet it is a shame that such a great character like Isara died. She still had plenty to do in her life. Great work sega for connecting us so deeply in the story.

stupidest thing about this is how when in gameplay u get shot about 12 times, blown by anti tank and still be alive or be wounded and get revived by the medic and in the cutscenes she got shot once by a stinkin low damage giving scout and die permanantly

Don't take me wrong, I felt sorry for Isara too.
However, although she was unarmed at the time, Isara was still a combatant. Therefor the Imperial troops didn't really violated any wartime laws of ethics by killing her.
War is not nice...
