I have a few problems with mine. First, my main menu looks nothing like that. 2nd, it doesnt play video (thinking because the ebrake wiring is not connected) 3rd My sub doesnt work with it. I wired it together myself and cant figure out whats wrong. Any ideas?
erm....video is goood=)but still dont know how to use GPS here=))any ideas???and btw ive got problems with touch screen as well....it worked,but now it doesn't...thanx for reply
hi guys just thought id let u know iv bourght a eonon the same model as this one shown .. mines working fine iv got a 3000 watt system running off it but the down side is they dont come with a low pass filter ... however the e/q has BASS TREB FAD BAL LOUDNESS DBAS .. sound quality is 10/10 but u have to adjust the low pass filters from your amplifier if you are running a system ... but alone the unit it self is 10/10 for the money u do pay.. the hard thing is when ur hooking it up at first
I like this HU but, Very slow graphics animation probably slow chips are used. Most Background pictures looks like cartoons and odd, they don't blend well to car's futuristic or classy interior. Sound Quality "should" have been improved after the D2208's crappy sound, should put more emphasis on SoundQuality/reverberation.
If you don't mind above mentioned, this is a good buy considering its price and features. Am willing to wait for D2211
good onya for doing this vid mate, i bought one aswell and ur right about the price, im just trying to figure how to get the GPS to work.. i think you have to buy it in an SD card seperatly but yeh. oh and if you know anyone with a VN commodore who wants to get one of these then they're gonna have to sacrafice heating and cooling for it LOL

@myeonon Hi Rebecca. I went through a very painful process a few months ago to try and fix my problem. Eonon ended up reimbursing me a percentage of the original purchase price and made me pay for the delivery back to your factory. I was not very happy but went with it anyway as I was sick of dealing with it all. The 2 year warranty was not mentioned. If you are able to reimburse me 100% then let me know!
@ondaquadra Sorry, no I have not heard back from anyone regarding this. I'm reluctant to contact them at all about it because their broken english and terrible service.

@megapsixopad This one didn't have the GPS function. Interface for the GPS would be mega crap anyway.

@VLCommodore87 This model doesn't have GPS in it... It would be craphouse anyway! Better off buying a separate TomTom or Navman or something

iPod support from EONON has always been crap, I'm sure they will get it right one day.
Its disappointing that the D2208 does not have better sound controls - especially SUB WOOFER MHz and Power Level controls.
The screen resolution is much improved though, as is the user interface as compared to the earlier E1012 model.

In all honesty, if i was to go back, i would spend the extra money and get a 'proper' one. Its cheap for what it is but leaves alot to be desired
