Eh.. it's not "twice the number of pixels" is it? In any case, the next iPhone announced on June 7th will have 960x640 display, and I honestly can't see smartphones going any higher than that. I'd like to see the Nexus One contend against the new iPhone, as the 3GS is quite a bit older than the Nexus...

I really do get sick of these reviews where people manufacture some sort of way to claim the iPhone is still better. I take that back. They don't even come up with excuses anymore. They just get to the end of the review and say "sorry the iPhone is still better" after showing you a crap load of features and hardware specs that the iPhone doesn't have.

When iPhone smashed the market I bought one as I was a WinMo user - crap. When Android arrived I switched because it's miles better, which is why it overtook iOS recently to be second only to Blackberry OS.

This and all Android phones, it does have internal storage that is expandable. Yeah it may come with a 4gb card but you can put in at least a 16gb micro sd card. Also has a user replaceable battery, unlike the iPhone. Plus had FREE turn by turn navigation! Multitasking....should I go on?

part 2) long just to do. that. clicking and dragging all the toppings..it takes like 10 min of wasting your time.you end up hanging up and calling pizza hut and just saying "yo I want a large deep dish Supreme pizza" its so easier that way. i mean all stuff is cool for like a month. but what do you really do with your phone? make phone calls,send texts and pictures, take pics and Videos, go on the internet, use the MP3 player at the gym. thats all i do with my 1,000's of useless apps on my phone

Just a note on the buttons. They seem to be a bit higher then you'd expect... actually they are part of the touch screen so the responsiveness is the same but they are just a little to high up.

If you use a multi-touch tester app you'll see this.

I wouldn't be surprised if some app decides to use this multi-touch button surface for something else rather then buttons in the future.

Yep, agree with most comments about the N1 in comparison to the iPhone. I have an iPhone 3GS, but i've used the Nexus 1 aswell and the touchscreen on the N1 isn't as responsive as the iPhone's screen... but however, the N1 has a better processor, better camera with flash. Again the battery life on the N1 is crap on par with the crap battery life on the iPhone.

iPhone has a competitor, but it's not this handset i'm afraid. The HTC company could release the iPhone killer but when?

The only thing I don't like about the N1, is it's not as smooth as the iPhone. Browsing on the iPhone is really smooth, unlike the N1. And in everything, N1 beats the iPhone.

In all honesty, the only thinkg that the iPhone has over the N1 and Droid is that it has a SLICK and smooth interface (but that's primarily because it doesn't multitask, which sucks). In every other way, the N1 and Droid are better phones (except the Droid is deemed too ugly and/or masculine by some).

Ive had one for over a month now and love it, oh and I just downloaded the multitouch update on day one. Oh and Iphone over this? Fuck right off! Now in saying that I have real problems with the quality of this phone. The 4 MAIN buttons on the front are awful and don't work right, the touch screen sometimes loses calibration to the extent where if you push it around 2/3 of the way down the screen it can activate one of those 4 menu buttons (yes seriously) and ive had connection errors

Eh I dont have an iphone but used to and from what I see, the nexus one media player is poor, it doesnt have an outlook calender syncing and you have to store apps on the internet memory which is really lame. Unfortunately its not the iphone killer.
