Both their albums (plus extras) are on Amazon. Look for a collection called the Upon Reflection: The Dawn Anthology, Sanctuary Records. It's under 10 pounds and well worth the money.

@readingsus1 or anyone else interested, you can buy their CDs at relaxx dot co dot uk/heron.htm There's info at the bottom on how to buy. As well, you can order things from the various amazons regardless of where you live, as far as I'm aware. I'm in Canada, but have bought from amazon in the UK and US and France as well, with no problem. amazon.ca has "Upon reflection.." available (or so they say.)
I first heard of this group by reading the book "Electric Eden" by Rob Young. I can't believe I never heard of them back in the days they were recording. I think they're wonderful.
I went to college with Roy from this group. I have the album but cannot play it! I want the CD but it seems to be only available in USA!! I am in the UK and this lot were all from the UK too.....any ideas?
I still play my old record, bought 40 years ago... :-) Got myself a Cd so that I can listen to them in my car as well. Glad to find that there are still people around who are happy to discover bands like Heron!!!
just discovered these chaps this past summer- the Dawn Anthology(via an Amazon list,-aren't they wonderful things, those lists?) such a beautiful record, i was amazed i never heard them before, better yet, i had never even heard of them before, thanks for posting- east of now, west of yesterday, is that a Sugerloaf reference?
@Unionjackass6933 Thanks for the words! Yes, it's a shame they are so unknown. But isn't a groovy feeling to discover an amazing band from yesteryear that seemed to have slipped past the rest. Peace and Keep the vinyl spinning!
And yes, took some liberty with the lyrics from Sugarloaf's West Of Tomorrow...Good eye! Feel free to come on bye my fbook page, everyday I post content linking to the events which occurred on that day in the history of music...
@pabloarrangoiz69 Thanks for the comment! I've asked myself that ? with a couple hundred or so bands. I have a fbook page I created for music,it's open to the public if you care to check it out...WestofNow EastofYesterday (two words)
Why are they so unknown! They're fantastic. My dad got the dawn anthology from amazon because he read about Heron in a book. He'd never heard them, it was by complete chance. So glad he got this cd!
Thanks for introducing me to this Amazing Band. I love the whole 1970,s British Folk and Prog Scene. Do not know how I missed these guys. Thanks to you I did'nt. Got the cd in the mail today.Keep the excellent music coming.
@jwhitepngnboy Thanks for the comment! You're quite welcome, glad you enjoy them! I have a fbook page I created for music,it's open to the public if you care to check it out...WestofNow EastofYesterday (two words)
