i read most of the book unwillingly for my english 1206 course. After the first reading the book drove me to the edge of boredom. However after further reading and really examining the book over and over for midterm exams i gotta say this is an amazing, dramitic demonstration of very important, universal themes. This is really sad. Most of the people over here haven't read the book. It's one of the greatest books I've read, and if I watched this video before I had read it, i'd have ruined the book for myself. All of you have lost your chances of reading a really good book, and I feel sorry for you. This makes me sick and i'm never using sparknotes again, and i'm going to discourage people from using it. I had Portuguese Literature (I'm from portugal, lol) in my high school years and read the books that the teacher reccomended. Those books changed me forever and sometimes even kept me awake at night.

@filipamd I couldn't agree with you more. It's really sad. Don't spoil these books for yourself on sparknotes. I do agree that sparknotes gives great summaries and analyses, which are really good for revising, but it's a much more fulfilling experience to actually read the book. If I had to suggest anything to you, it would be to just read anything and everything that you get your hands on. :)
