dont think im a mario fanboy but when mario met yoshi he was actually a baby and somehow yoshi knew luigi was trapped i think in baby bowsers castle (never beat the game) so yoshi was never tamed plus yoshi is actually a species (in the mario games) wich i think is a mix of a dragon and dinosaure (in one of the games when yoshi spits a red koopa he spits three flames with eyes)
