  • nice vid

  • ok both videos are great!! And it looks like you have a wonderful caring family. However, What was the point of this video? I have always heard Aspies are not that social and you looked pretty darn social to me and a great jock at that!! Great videos.

  • well, the thing is, the difference between people with just autism and people with AS is that people with autism aren't really interested in making friends and forming relationships with other people, but people with Asperger's Syndrome are interested. And if they choose to be off by themselves, in my case, it's not because I don't want to be around other people. It's because I'd be afraid that eventhough I might want to be around other people, they might not want to be around me.

  • The other reason I might be by myself rather than other people, is because other people have been mean to me in the past as well, and that might be another reason I might want to be alone. But who wants to be around other people, when everyone automatically notices something different about that indivdual and wants nothing to do with it because of it, right? That's another reason why aspies might be by themselves.

  • By the way, thanks. Glad ya liked them. I still run too.;)

  • Hi. My brother has aspergers he is awful to live with! Do you grow out of it> I just wish my brother would grow out of it. the nightmare needs to end soon! lol hi by the way :)

  • unfortunately, it's a life long condition. As for his nightmare behavior, I"d say, there are ways, to maybe help him grow out of it. There's possibly medications he could be on, as well as maybe something to help him change his way of thinking about certain things.

  • Oh. He's on some sort of medication i'm not sure what it is. i hope he grows out of it. he's tearing our family appart

  • well, then there's counseling. Maybe if he works with a therapist, maybe they can help him change the way he chooses to behave as well as view things. But at the same time, he has to want it, depending on his age. It could be he's just frustrated about certain things, cuz maybe he doesn't really know who to talk to about them. I have that problem with my family all the time.

  • He's trien counselling. things got so bad for me at one poiint i had it too. it doesnt help. and he's 18 so by now surely he should be able to handle it? dont you think?

  • oh boy. I think it would be good if not just the individual with AS got counseling, but so should their family, because maybe members of the famliy could learn through counseling how to handle and deal with that person who's affected better. Like they could learn how to just be a better listener, as well as just believing their family memeber who's affected by the disorder, if they complain about being picked on. The worst thing you can do in that senario is assume they're just making it up.

  • @chezziebabes95

maybe im wrong but i think:

its the family tearing themselfs appart by not willing to put much strength on handling with him.

    love is the answer.

  • "What makes you different makes you beautiful" :o)

  • Yeah, that's the name of the song, alright. Ya like it?

  • Yes, I DO like that line/ song title. It's not my favorite style of music, but I like the sentiment. Then you go to another extreme sorta, with the Skorpions. lol

    btw, I'm also from Wisconsin!

  • Yeah, I saw that on your profile. That's cool.
