I have seen the thinking fellers union live twice. The second time i saw them was at the 7th street entry in Minneapolis and after the show we all talked about how it was by far the greatest live performance ever.. as if aliens came down and gave us the second coming. There was a live video out there on some website about 10 years ago - they were playing at the Lounge Ax in Chicago (if I remember right) - does anyone know if it is "stream-able" or where to watch it?
Thank you so much for posting this. Growing up in NZ, I never had a shit-show of seeing 'em. Loved all the albums and have always wondered what they must have been like live. I'm envious of all those who saw them. My childish response would have to be: at least I've seen Dead C 79 gazillion times. That, pathetically, makes me feel better. TFUL282 are sadly underrated and should be sharing the stage (metaphorically) with Sonic Youth. I miss the fun!
Howdy Anne. I have to take claim to being perhaps the only human being on the planet NOT in this band that gets the title "Wormed by Leonard." This is a challenge.
Excuse me sir, I'd like to buy a spike for planting hornets in the heart of my wife. She's had conversations with my darker side. Now she's left me with a poisoned mind.
i think i probably saw these guys/gal the next night or somewhre near ther in memphis when i was 16!!! changed my fuckin life///not to mention all the albums, and the other three times i saw them in high school.yay!!

She has a hornet's heart.
I care for her so. It saddens me to know she knows that I'd cook her to keep her warm. When she saws her saw-like call and asks me if I caught it all, I let slip I love her so, I'd cook her to keep her warm.
thanks for posting this song which brings to mind the sweet/pungent smell of a fresh cowpie on a spring morning...hard not to crack a smile watching this performance! they fukn rock!
Hey Hageman! I read what you wrote about my girlfriend's panties in your tour journal. :)

I'd chop myself into pieces and stuff me into a suitcase so that someone could smuggle me across the border to see this band...

Excellent stuff!
It sounds like they've been influenced by Captain Beefheart and XTC!

Wow! I love this band. I was at this show, I'm the tall guy who's blocking the full view of Anne (bass). One of the five best shows I've ever seen.
