They might be oveer but their songs are about each other and they still love each other, whether or not they are with different people or not.

It's a niley song, listen to the lyrics, it's obviously a niley song whether or not she said it was about Liam. It was obviously written before May 2010, when were she and Liam never attached at the hip before that so she obviously didn't miss him because they were always together and she sings 'i love you more than i did before', she never loved liam before, they had never separated before August 2010 and the song was out before that.

She would more than likely not say it's about nick because of rumours and the fact that she was dating liam at the time. If it is for Liam then it really doesn't make sense, my last comment was just stating the obvious.
