has anyone noticed that phil coulter wrote the town i love so well for luke , donegal danny for ronnie and ciarán got the ballad of ronnie's mare, i think phil may have underestimated ciaráns voice. ciaran was one of the best singers in the dubs

It sounds like he played a triplet into the second octave. Its sounds nice but certainly not uncommon in tin whistle music.

At 0:50 and 2:21 the high-pitched flute note-phrase is very pretty. Are there other songs that have that little thing?
