yeah, Hello ITs Lillian, are you Saying Hello to All your Friends out there? So long Son, So long... Nice bunch of Books, Where are they all now? Love Momma Ma Kettle.
You should read The twilight Saga it's long but worth to read I'm in 7 grade and I'm a guy and I love it and yes I'm straight liking twilight dosent mean you have to be a chick but yeah nice collection buy your New moon movie now avalible in stores I bought mine bie ;)
I love Muse, and I love books (my shelves and piles are starting to close in on me... it's wonderful! :) so this was a great video. For some reason I love seeing the book collections of fellow readers, especially when you can tell the books are well-read and well-loved. How long have you been "collecting"?
Lol, nope nothing is better. My only problem with organizing my bookshelf, is that I keep pausing and reading bits from here and there, so that by the time Im done, hours have passed...
Thank you for commenting. And yes, is there anything better than loads and loads of books!? I think not. I honestly love to sometimes just go and look at my books... I look over the titles, I think about when I last read them- might even thumb through a few pages on another. Very nice.
You still need to post Member Pic with you and a book!
I hung out with the PHIL majors when I was an undergrad...you guys are so awesome and great on camping trips...hahah! Funny, I COMPLETELY bullshat my way thru my phil courses, never read 1 of the books and ended up with a 104% .... I guess that makes me one of you. xoxo
"nvr read one of the books... 104%" ... that doesn't make you one of us, it is a commentary on the state of education- and how dismal it is in some quarters.
woah woah woah... i wasn't serious about that. I did pay attention in the class discussion and I was a BIG participator... Please don't think I was trying to take a shot at you or ANY phil major. Grades were based on exams only..essay exams...and I just put things together as I saw them and explained my view of the metaphysical realm etc. Please don't take my comment the wrong way. (TRUE: some educational standards have been lowered to the Nth degree.) No hard feelin's.
Abby, my apologies if I came off too "serious". I was not intending to be so. Just wanted to take a jab at modern day education- something I like to poke fun at. Not pointing fun at you. :-)
I like Douglas Coupland- did you hear there either is a movie or is going to be a movie about Gen. X. not sure how that will translate to film, though.
douglas coupland is a great writer, especially of his (our) generation. I see you are from his hometown. Very cool. I have not heard anything about a Gen-X movie. I'd love to see something of the sort. (always wanted Grlfrnd in Coma to be film.
LotR is the greatest fantasy novel ever written! Thank you for showing some love! As for Potter, I have read all six. But waiting till box set 1-7 to buy.
If Brothers Karamazov is a little daunting (due to its size) I recommend Notes from Underground. It's a brilliantly powerful story- and quite compact. :-)
eaglecrowowl, first off, thanks for taking the time to watch my vlog! Second, even bigger thanks for leaving a comment! It's much appreciated.
lastly, there are few things on earth more satisfying than a good book collection, even sometimes just to admire from afar. C&P is truly one of the great works of fiction of all time. If you enjoyed it, you'd also enjoy Brothers Karamasov. Keeping that intellect on meth! :-)
See, you're presenting me with quite a poser. On the one hand, your video is ALMOST completely unrelated, but on the other hand you have excellent taste in music.
Pretentious.

Thank you very much! It's a book collection in much disarray, but I do love it indeed.
It needs some updating and some organizing, but I'm very blessed to have so many great books.
Thank you for writing.

LOL nice. now i get it. yes, it's a phenominal work of art. have you read any other good books lately? i'm always up for recommendations.
stockman214 4 years ago
The Saudis by Sandra Mackey is a good contemporary nonfiction.
Voltaire's Candide would have to be my classical recomendation right now.

I love a good book collection. Crime and Punishment is one of the best books of fiction I have ever read. One must keep the intellect stimulated.
