Totally agree with you dude, I recently went to a bls gig after listening to some of there album stuff and thought I'd give it a go seeing as the tickets were cheap. Big mistake and possibly the worst gig ever, even the die hard fans started to leave after the extended live version of "in this river".

Plus the bls nerds with their patches trying to be outlaw motorcyclists just look like total dicks.

Admittedly this years "in this river" wasnt really my cup of tea but the rest of the gig rocked, also some of the venues dont seem to be able to get the sound right. Bass was drowning everything out in brum but the manc gig was awesome. No ones trying to look like a motorcycle club, we wear the patches because they are black label patches.

@KubaRybny no usually uses EMG's. My guess is he but the orginial chrome covers back on over them. I just don't think the standard 490R and 498T pickups can get those pinch harmonics but i could be wrong.

In response to CrazyKid3131, listen to a few of Stevie Ray's albums front to back. He uses a lot of the exact same progressions and riffs in many of his solos. It's not like Zakk Wylde is the only person who has parts of his solos that sound similar.

No, but I'm allowed to have my opinion. I don't think pinch harmonics are awesome when they're played constantly. I don't mind them as an accent here and there. In Pride and Glory, Zakk sprinkled them tastefully throughout the music and I'm fine with that. I love Pride and Glory. After that though, he went into pinch harmonic overdrive and while I still like him, he plays them way too much.
