He never exceeded his prime after Daytona USA, but the first VF games, Burning Rangers, Daytona USA 2 and Sega Rally are damn good too.

All I can say is that this is the style SEGA needs to return to. This is what we, long-time SEGA fans love about them. So bring more arcade ports on XBLA/PSN, make Daytona USA 3 and make more of these developer diaries. :-)

I love how some of the lyrics Mitsuyoshi sang for Let's Go Away that were featured in this remake, and on the Daytona USA medley from Circuit Edition/Deluxe wound up as actual lines your crew chief would tell you during a race in Daytona USA 2...and I don't need to remind anyone how much that game and Sega Super GT need to be released in some new format. I will buy a 360 or PS3 just for those two games.
