  • Oh, sorry the front looked like the Dash9,NJ Transit uses the gp-40 and it looks very different

  • These are gp40MC's. They were bouth from I think CP and have the wide cabs (like the dash).

  • GP40MC'S were CN 9000's rebuilt by Alstom in the mid-late 90's for the MBTA...

  • I knew it was the canadians.

  • MBTA Uses the DASH-9?

  • This is a GP-40MC

  • I LOVE the K5LA

  • 1116 is my engine but i have to share it with some other people :(

  • I like passenger trains more than freight trains even though freight trains are longer. I wish we had passenger trains other than Amtrak. BTW, shame on that man for running crossed the tracks with the gates down!

  • Yeah, he should stay and enjoy the sights and sounds like the rest of us.

  • When I was an engineer on the Erie Lackawanna, we'd deliberately stop with the engine on the crossing, to

prevent people from running in front of the train, or

cars from going around the gates.

  • 1123 is MY engine :P

  • Freight Trains are my thing, when i was out west as a Tractor-Trailer driver, I loved to watch them muscle their way through the desert, beautiful machines! Great vid.

  • Yeah not much freight running around here. But i do love these beasts and you always when and where they'll show up

  • Sweet video! I gotta say, I actually like trains - mainly the suburban trains. Probably sounds weird but I also like waiting for the trains at the station - underground stations are awesome!
