If Luffy was willing... Imagine how quick it could have been over. He doesn't need Gears at all. He could Balloon to deflect Bellamy far into the sea. He could use pistol, bazooka and all which multiply his power. Imagine if he did a Gomu Gomu Axe here. He would be 6 feet into the ground.
