you would hope that the porsche would out perform the crx on the twists and turns but the honda is lighter and does not have all that car to maneuver.... a turbo 911 would probably still not be able to beat the rex here either.... you don't always get what you pay for.

well i rather have the porshe. so i could sell it and get a few crx's. lol. plus the only thing that a porshe has over it is its top speed. the handing and acceleration are all honda. i mean as long as you re-do the steering, cuz most CRX's dont even have power steering cuz they dont need it.

i agree with you on lateral g's, but it really depends on how you mod the crx. i mean stock against stock, the porshe would blow it away. but if you do it right a crx, gutted, all out can beat a mercielago in acceration and handling (i kno from experience), im sure if you tuned it to pure handling and drifing, all that, the crx could take it. but i'd lose its hard acceration.

there was no RWD to hit the states and all CRX's were made in Japan (which is why they are still excellent) in fact, it was one of the last cars Soichiro Honda had any involvement with.

some were imported to the US, like my old one.

i'm pretty sure because i lived in japan, worked on them commonly in the shop for upgrading (which was a big thing there).

some were brought in rwd (rare, among the last later models), but almost all others were fwd.
