Onto the video: yeah, it's staged. However there are actual deaths in the movie, just not as a result of the director. The impale scene is just a special effect, the girl is not dead. In court the italian director, explained how the effect was achieved: a bicycle seat was attached to the end of an iron pole, upon which the actress sat. She then held a short length of balsa wood in her mouth and looked skyward, thus giving the appearance of impalement. Deodato (the director) also provided pictures of the girl interacting with the crew after the scene had been filmed.

I think you need to do your research about this film. The only things that were actually killed were the monkey the pig and the turtle. All the rest of the effects were cleverly staged, sometimes just out of focus like the severing of the guys manhood.

its not real it was a film from grindhouse back in the 70s just the killings of the animals. they where put on trial for "murder" but was then dropped of the charges. it was band in 30 countries but then in the 90s was re instated to be shown on film
