Boys and girls on any medium to slow tempo gospel tune learn the melody or tune well with your right hand by itself. Then add voices under that. Or play the bass melody along with that top melody. That gives you a two voice song. From there voice downward adding a third voice and a forth voice if you wish. You can make it as dense or as thin as you want to. Most good players use 5 or 6 voices consistently. Seconds are tense. Thirds are full. Forths and fifths are transparent. Sixths are full.
Nice conception my man. I love to hear you play. You keep the melody in the top voice very well and are creative in your voicings of the altos, tenors and bass voices. You use good voice leading in that you follow the path of the shortest way, not allowing voices to drop out as you maintain consistency.
