See, what I did, was always remind my self that it was meant to be a spinoff sequel, so by lowering my expectations, i will enjoy the game more. unlike other fans who were expecting this to be the greatest game ever and even dissing vesperia because they told them selves that tos2 was above "such Xbox filth" (yea some one actually said that)

So yea. I actually enjoyed it. Now my only complaint is the fact that out of all of the new voice actors, Zelos, my favorite one, actually sounds the worse

I so love this game! It ties in well with the story from the first one. Emil was a winny bitch in the first part, I do have to agree. The skits are amazing there so funny. I wasn't a symphonia fan until like my first year of high school and now that I'm out of school it's still one of my favorite games!

There are a few games that were released in the US that may not get released here, if they do it will be quite some time.

Apparently they've updated the dock(?) to allow you to install games to the hd to improve their performance.

I think that's a nice move.

As for games today.

People focus too much on graphics and they neglect gameplay, story etc.

Both the creators and reviewers/gamers.

From what I understand there are a number of 360 games that are region-free anyway... i'm sure if you google it you can find a list... as for a similar unlocking solution as the Wii, that depends on if there's much of a Homebrew scene on the 360... since I don't own a 360 I wouldn't know if there's homebrew on it. If there is i'm sure there must be a region free app floating round too

Apparently PS3 games are region free.

It seems to be the one good decision Sony has made.

PS2 games are not though, so importing a US console with backwards compatibility is pointless, unless you mod it or something and I'm wary of that kind of thing.

I'm not importing this one, although I want to play it so badly.

I remember the 1st Tales of Symphonia so well, because I had time off work 1 week (due to having to use up my remaining holiday hours).

Not seeing anything apart from the title screen before-hand, I played for 3days straight, unlocking everything I could (I didn't get all the titles and costumes)and all I ate was loads of pot noodles, curries and super strong coffee.

One of the best RPGs I've ever played,

make sure you don't update your wii mokong. In version 3.4 you agree to Nintendo having the right of deleting any channels and files that don't belong there like the homebrew channel.

Yes, regional coding is stupendously idiotic. So bravo for finding a way around the system, and it's great that in the end a wonderful game was played. Do you or anyone on here know if there's a way to get around a UK DVD player? I sent a friend in England some DVDs and he couldn't play them (this was before I knew about this regional shit. I'm not... that with it...really) so is there some way to get around that DVD player similar to how you got around the Wii player?

Sure! He needs a TV that can play out an NTSC signal, so one built somewhere after 2004-5.

well that depends by what is meant by "it wouldn't" play... if it played but in black & white then the TV signal would just need to be switched to NTSC, most new TVs should have this option... if they don't play at all then i have no clue it the players issue.... though it is possible to get multi-region players these days
