the old ones were faster, i saw a vintage video on here of a 68 shelby gt500E doing a top speed run on the salt flats from 1968 in a 2 mile run it got up to 237mph with both nitrous bottles on "go-baby-go" of course they used the blue streak bonniville tires and smooth airflow wheels. thats not bad for a car with a 390ci motor with twin 4bb carbs on it running a nitro mix.
