@zzzhuh First of all there is blood in the game and lots of it. The commentators are just fine, i wish they could have added Joe Rogan but whatever. There is weight classes, are you fucking retarted, and fighters like Anderson Silva and Royce Gracie can be downloaded from fighter share among many others. This game is a huge step up from ufc 2010, i love both but EA MMA is just so much better. UFC 2010 - fighting game EA MMA - simulation.

@Hulkmania316 Once you get into the hold you need to watch the limb you have hold of. The bone starts to show and if it goes fully red, the hold locks in and you have the submission. In the case of the video, Fedor uses a transition move in his set that isn't default to all fighters. That allows him to follow up with a 2nd submission after he lost the hold of the armbar, thus giving that arm no chance to get rested. Applying multiple submissions gives a character an edge in submission gameplay.

This game can be fun at times, but its mostly arcady. Its also about whoever gets the 1st choke submission wins majority of the time. A buddy of mine got submitted by Bob Sapp twice with triangle. I got submitted by Lawal. We both have good online records too.

How do you do submissions in this game? there is some kind of a mini game to press a button with "rithim" but no one knows what that is, so its just luck when they come out. Someone help me!!!

@Hulkmania316 On the main menu select "MMA 101" then take the opponent to the ground, it should then give you a tutorial on submissions if you can get onto your opponents back.

@Hulkmania316 The submission system is a 2 part game. First, you have to get into the position to work the submission. If the particular animation gets to complete, like with an armbar when you fall back on your butt and grip his forearm, that is the end of the 1st part of the exchange. The 2nd part is the button press mini game. This part isn't about just speed, but also pacing. Too fast, you gas and lose, too slow and the opponent has an advantage. Stamina is the key to execution.

okay so i really dont understand how the submission system works. The triangle choke escape looked like you have to rotate the left stick to match where the blue line is. if thats the case then i think thats terrific. Now the armbar to omaplata... looks fucked up. It looks like a buton mashing sequence.. but Fedors stamina bar was empty while Overeems was full. Unless his user just quit hitting the button then idk how that would work. Either way, i hate people that only do subs from the bottom
