  • that makes sense, and i love the fact that Avid has increased the resolution of the faders in the series. though, as an entry into the family, the transport will blow away mouse automation.

  • @quantumpsych Very true!

  • @soundpurestudios hey guys, fantastic videos, would like to know if you have tried automating fader moves with the transport? the manual says it's possible but how well does it function in this capacity?

  • @quantumpsych Apparently, you can "write" a fader movement using the "big knob" on the transport, but since it would just be a single channel at a time, it really doesn't make a tremendous amount of sense... that's really what the Mix/Control fader packs were designed for. Does that make sense?

  • Want! I wish it was the same colour and material as the Mc Mix but I'll survive with it...

  • @MatrixSaturation Give us a ring- keep in mind, there's all new Avid branded versions of this stuff, even though it's the exact same infastructure. Be sure and check out our latest round of videos on the Artist Series! Thanks for watching and commenting

  • @soundpurestudios

    Thanks,

I will. And by an amazing coincidence I got the perfect job to buy 2 new pieces shortly. ;)

I'm thinking those will go very well (and look very good) with the new Fireface UFX card...

  • @MatrixSaturation Sounds great! And, congrats on the new gig! We certainly carry the RME Fireface UFX as well! Looking forward to helping you on this next upgrade!

  • @soundpurestudios

  • Do my eyes deceive me? Windows 7 support finally?

    OK, what are the limitations?

  • @ins0mniakds Check out our latest video series... we are going to be going into great detail into the Windows 7, and specifically PT9 support.

  • Give this poor guy a glass of water, please... By the way, excellent video!

  • @tonylamosa Isn't he amazing! Thanks for the comment... by the way, we are trying to work something out so we can see all of the new Euphonix/ProTools functionality with ProTools 9. The integration is even more seamless and impressive- we are blown away!

  • Our pleausure, as always thanks for the comment!

  • This is a sweets bit of kit. Thanks for a great demo.

  • Hi ! Really like your videos !

Just a question about this control surface :

Any idea when a Windows version (x86 and x64) will be available ? Waiting for a long time already....

    Thanks !

  • @ryko40 Understood- we are all waiting. There is no concrete announcement, but they were working on this before Avid, and now that Avid is in control, you can rest assured that it will happen... just a matter of time.
