You know, maybe this show is cheesy, but in the 1980's a lot of shows were cheesy, but they all taught a lesson, and they all taught moral values. Are there any shows on TV that do that anymore?
This was a really great episode. It shows that child abduction is not anything to laugh about. If they had more TV shows showing things like this instead of magical vampires and pop stars living double lives, maybe we could all come together and "heal the world, make it a better place, for you and for me and the entire human race..." LOL (major MJ moment right there!) Good job Silver Spoons for making this episode. I also adore Alfonso Ribiero's line "don't call me!!!")
@Mysterycat74 - she is ethnic looking but seems more latina white. I'm spanish and my skin is olive skin with soft curly hair (all my family is fair white) but my great grandfather was from the canary islands off of Spain and he had the olive skin and soft curly hair.
It was eerie in the sense it was like episode 42 where a secret is revealed to Ricky that his friend's dad beats and abuses him.
People sure feel a need to open up to ol' Ricky Schroder. Must be his holy undergarments, which is what The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints believe ... and what Ricky's faith is.
People should look him up on wiki. It's shocking seeing him aged after watching "the champ" and a few episodes of siverspoons!
This was a really good episode. I have only seen like one episode of Silver Spoons so its nice to see more. Thanks for posting it. Very good episode. :)
Great stuff, very moving! I haven't seen that many episodes of Silver Spoons because only the first season was shown here in the UK and this is the best one I have seen.
This is the sad episode where Beth reunited with her mother. Her mother was gone for three years and has been abductd when the girl was three years old.

@GialloHorror Agreed. I grew up during that time too (born in '77). Each show taught life lessons.

Beth looks very ethnic (I thought she was light skinned black at first!) But both her parents look completely white and American. Weird.

@SeijiMutoEX Not to long ago, I saw Rick on an episode of "No Ordinary Family." It's a shock to see how much he's aged since this show.
