@sygo7g The PAL sales of Vestron's Library was probably sub-letted to that company in the Netherlands, as it was the same story for Vestron's UK video releases.
Filmpac was a sub label of Vestron, which reminded me - I forgot to add that darn logo to the end of this lot!! Never mind. I'll have to add it separate.
Oh one of my fave logos! Glad to say I have a few tapes with the 3rd logo on them, without the preview notice. Like the cheesy redlights blinking, hee hee! I'm sorry to say that now that Vestron is gone, their logos have been removed by their films new owners. I saw the rerelease of "Dirty Dancing" and Lionsgate stuck theirs on. Someone posted "Lair of The White Worm" here from it must be a DVD and Artisan replaced theirs. Darn! I liked their theatrical logo. Thanks for posting!
Seeing the last Vestron logo brings back memories of a heap of cheesy and nasty 80s films - Naked Vengeance, Re-Animator, Streetwalkin', Slaughter High etc. :D!!! I've got all those too - coming up soon after the Oz vids.
Yeah, hee hee! I do have some tapes with the theatrical logo on it. The one for The Running Man has a trailer for a lowbrow 80's comedy "Paramedics" looks like crap, but the preview kills me. Another Vestron "classic". Re-Animator and they put out the unrated version too.
Nowadays Vestron is safely locked inside the Lionsgate. :D

Were Vestron and Filmpac the same company?
My fave from Filmpac was Monster Squad.

That first Vestron logo has different music, but the closing logo on the same tape had the music of the second logo shown here. It was strange.

Pretty cool of them.

The second clip's music sounds similar to the Tales From The Darkside theme at the beginning.

Is it just me, or did they use a few elements of PBV/CEL in their time?

I think everyone borrowed a bit of everything back then. I'm surprised there's no starry night sky back-drop!
As you may know, Vestron were managed for a while by Video Classics, before they went solo.
