SNS settings does not appear on my Charge for any of my synced apps, whether Auto-Sync is on or off.
I've had this only 3 days, but my battery goes through a full charge 3 times a day. It can't even hold a charge overnight with everything off - WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and only sync apps running. And the battery gets uncomfortably hot when charging or if I use the phone within 1/2 hour of charging. The display is using 74% of the battery, and I use a 1 minute screen timeout.

I am having exactly the same issues you are having. I'm going to take my phone back to get a new battery if the sync recs they offer don't work.
