The beer is pressurized in the bottle, therefore requiring a colder temperature to freeze it. when the bottle is opened the beer decompresses and stays at the same temperature therefore it freezes, yeah, it happened to me too.

Its called super cooling. If you cool something very carefully you can lower its temperature below its freezing point. However, once you agitate - you will then have the phase change occur rapidly. Superheating is dangerous and much more entertaining, its dangerous because it explodes into a gas.

Put it in the FREEZER for about 30 minutes. take it out, then open it. If it is cold enough, it will start to freeze when you open it. if not, it is not cold enough, try again, but leave it in the freezer a bit longer

It happnes because the beer (while cold ennough to freeze) is under pressure from the C02, when the pressure is relieved, the beer can freeze, and it does so, virtually instantly!

I had my beer in the freezer so it would be really cold. I rotate them out. one goes out, one goes in. When you have something under pressure, it's freezing point drops. When I took my beer out of the freezer it was under 32 degrees farenheit but under pressuer, so it didn't freeze, but when I took the cap of, the pressure was release, and the beer was allowed to freeze
