Government created jobs require tax dollars and do not create wealth. What you don't see is how the tax dollars could have been spent for production in the market place.
Stimulate the economy with tax reduction. Allow the money to be used in the economy. Jobs will then be created.
As a small business owner, if I kept all tax dollars that are created by my business, I would be able to double my staff, invest in capital and expand my business. and create...JOBS JOBS JOBS!!!
Revver, wealth does not need to be created in this recession. Jobs do.
Secondly, a government is no different from a private sector job in what it creates. If it develops infrastructure, it will spur growth by easening logistics and quickening transporation. If it is in energy production.... it produces energy... which is a good and thus is wealth...
Tax reductions will NOT work. The recession is too great for them to make a significant difference. They've not worked for 8 years, not now
These thieving, malicious GOP members will be removed from office, or else the country might experience the civil war some historians are discussing around the world.
We don't need ANY Republicans, so why even have a Republican party? Bush led them to destruction, let the whole fuckin thing die. Let's form an entirely new party, or just have Dems. Fuck it.
I agree - Republicans are sefish. I've been saying this for many years, mostly since the Bush Administration. I've read and watched news report after news report illustrating that Republicans don't care about anything but their own priorities, even if it means people will die and families will loose their homes. the sad thing is - most Republicans either don't care or don't realize it. I think the entire party is sociopathic.

I like the Igloo graphic with the elephant out in the cold.
It's a double meaning. OUt in the wilderness/left out in the cold..
Well done, graphics department. U guys are often underappreciated, and heaping praise on Rachel is akin to giving God her props- unneeded. LOL.

This is encouraging. If the Republicans continue on this course they may never regain any power at all!
