Availability in chevy parts are humongous and so the combinations of parts wich equal a lot of headaches.Buick came up with the Stage1,the Stage2 and try to get the Stage3....Simple, pick one and it will last more than a racing season without overhauling!!!!!!!

@sycokillerisnotcool Yea I agree completely. There are no BIGGER or BETTER crate motors than the chevy 502 or 572. I mean come on. you can't drop in any more horsepower than that stock with a ford or buick crate. 572 comes stock with 700hp. I'd like to see a POS ford motor crank that out without a blower

wow thats a nice machine, i have a 68 skylark, i barely install a chevy 350 engine with some performance parts, not too high cuz i use it every day. nice ride, congrats. :)
