  • i'll stick with my memory MOOG.i find DCO's are to thin for my taste unlike VCO's. but i like the yellow face, and its sound pretty good very well done. i might tri it out :p

  • this is no doubt a powerful man, he has shaken the very core of my penis

  • I know this guy... met him at a live PA I did.

  • This is fabulous news.

    A DSI keyboard analog synth.

Essentially a SC-Pro-One for the new millennium?

I can't wait to get my hands (and credit card) on one!

  • I don't get, why only 32 keys? Isn't 3 octaves like minimum standard for solo synths? This is a big blow, at least for me, it looks really interesting though.

  • @MyName364 i agree im so almost getting this synth, but the sub 3 octave keyboard makes me a little worried.

  • @matchstyx88 - you really can't claim that dave smith is ripping of nord. nord and all the other VA manufacturers have been trying (and failing) to emulate the original analogs that Dave Smith among others created in the 70s and 80s. The Mopho is a revival of real analog - the nord is still a copy.

  • @jessermejia I think what matchstyx88 is saying is that the appearance of the keyboard looks like Nord. And it does, the knobs, buttons and the 2 line LED display... I'm almost surprised its not red. Sounds- Nord goes a completely different route; they aren't big in to analog synths, its not their sounds. Mohpo is a analog monophonic synth for under $800. The external power supply suggests its premature, cheaper, and a little tacky. Nevertheless I'm stoked for this synth. I hope its amazing.

  • i own a nord wave. the layout (knobs, buttons, and options) look very similar to clavia's nord synths.. kinda looks like a knock off to me. also its priced pretty low which might suggest they cut corners to keep costs down much like they did with the prophet 08 which is known for its cheap knobs, parts, and tendency to break. i hope they prove me wrong and restore the quality DSI name with this one though im not holding my breath..

  • tetr4 keyboard plz!!!

  • It's about time a decent keyboard with plenty of knobs from Dave Smith.

  • Niiiiice.

  • I was planning to save up and buy a Little Phatty but to be honest this being half the price who wouldnt buy this, its amazing.

  • better hardware interface, and come on, it has a sequencer built in too! It is odd that the keyboard starts with F and not C though.
