  • This question is for anyone who might know the answer. I live over a crystal meth lab. Lately they've been using what smells like strong acetone (they dump it into the plumbing & I get the fumes). I've been able to neutralize the lye they use with oxalic acid, neutralize the acids with baking soda or washing soda but I can't figure out how to get rid of the acetone. Any help would be appreciated (yes, I've contacted NYPD, the landlord, health dept., buildings dept. but no does anything ).

  • @mmedefarge I would contact your local EPA (environmental Protection agency) office in either your state or region.
