is it possible to make amigurumi stitches too tight? i always have a difficult time getting my hook back through the loops. O don't know if its because I have crappy yarn that frays too easily, my stitches are too tight, or I just don't know what I am doing. it doesn't seem to matter what size hook I use either.
which hole do you out it through? like at the top there is like a braid chain thing so do you go through both loops the back loop or the front loop? plz help its confusing...
@maryg083 Me too :-) I think I actually use a larger hook than most use, I've heard most suggest an E or an F for amigurumi, because any smaller and I wouldn't be able to manage it. I have to use a G and that's bad enough. Sometimes my stitches get so tight, my hand starts cramping after just a single row of maybe 20 or so stitches. So I'm working on it.

This is a good tip- I usually have to FORCE myself to do it loosely because I have a habit of crocheting too tightly!
