@tiramisumeltdown Im no great fan of Marcos but please get your facts straight. Marcos was never a communist in fact he was all out fighting the communist rebels during his reign. He captured and detained a lot of NPAs, communists and most of its leaders, like Joma Sison, Dante Buscayno etc. But it was Cory who released most of these detainees after EDSA 1 revolution. Of course Marcos being a dictator also jailed a lot of his politcal enemies including Ninoy Aquino.
