to clear things up, it had a home made flash bang in the fuzz and was operated via a spare channel.

It was not shot down or nor did the engine blow up. this was a very old plane and very old servos, so was tricky to fly but she had a good last flight and went out with a bang lol

This looks like an internal exsplogen, because i was luckly enough to pause it at the "flashpoint" and it looked to be from the motor. They seemed to be having proplems from the start so my guess is that the "engine" over heated and ignited whatever the plane was using as fuel.
