Good for you sport, at least you're having a go. Keep practising and you will get better. See if you can find a singing teacher though, I am having my first singing lesson on 6th January and I have a couple of friends who sing. You need to exercise your voice regularly but again good on you for putting it out there and don't let these other turkeys put you off.

I remember playing just chords trying to sing fun times. don't let anyone tell you that you suck because really if you stick to it you'll get better and eventually be good enough no one can even say anything bad about your music.
