@Brennna That is a natural arm movement when being tased the arms bend when the muscle's contract. Ride the streets of a big city for one night as a police officer and you would be all for the officer's using the taser. Unless you are qualified to use the taser or have been tased dont run your mouth about something you know nothing about.
Tasers rarely kill. The power on the guns is measured in volts. Amps are what deadly and tasers are buile with less than .5 amp so it will cause alot of pain but wont be deadly. That is why they call it non-lethal.
not all departments MAKE you get tasered to carry. some are voluntary. I recently volunteered to take to full ride of 5 secs! I also participated in a medical study to see the effects it had on the body. all i had was heavier breathing and slightly elevated heart rate. if anyone dies from the taser it is from a pre exsisting medical condition.
so when ur fighting some1 2x bigger than u or better yet some1 high on pcp you would rather shoot and KILL rather than use less than lethal to subdue them? dont get me wrong I have no prob. defending life by taking 1.Ok for all u taser hating ppl we'll have all the pd's get rid of the taser and go back to just beating w/the stick,spraying them w/oc or shooting or hesitate to shoot some1 and then we lose another hero who chose to protect all of U who walk away when shit gets tough!
no the taser seems like a very good tool for the police, but of course if it were true that people died from it that would have to be re-evaluated. it does seem wrong to use it in every situation were it is technically legal though which could be a danger if it is viewed as harmless.

I couldn't help in all these tazer videos to see how many of these people grab their heart. Hmmm.

If the taser is deadly then it does not serve its purpose. So if the police officers die while testing the taser, the taser should not be used.
