This is complete nonsense. Encouraging people with serious illness to go off their meds is irresponsible. REAL bipolar (and this guy doesn't sound like one) are at higher risk of suicide than most other people.
Thank you ! Psychiatric disorders are not medical diseases. There are no lab tests, brain scans, X-rays or chemical imbalance tests that can verify any mental disorder is a physical condition.
Thankyou, I finaly got off those fucking poison pills myself !!!!
Thank you for this video!!!it is exactly the things i need to ear right now in this moment of my life :-)
I know that it is THE time , and for some coming weeks , I do must really free myself of this fuck?*% and huge suffering of what ''they'' call ----bordeline personality disorder.......And all the things come with this :-S
I have been recently seeing someone who has a son (29yrs) of age who is bipolar.. This guy has done so many things to hurt this woman and I have tried to be understanding but all I want to do is put my fist through his face.. However, this is not a solution rather it would only make matters worse. the problem is that he makes her a prisoner and tries to keep us apart, so basically I am a prisoner as well.. How can I love someone unconditionally, that hurts the woman I love?
I used to escape sadness trough video games. But then I started figuring out what's going on in my head and I completly turned my life around. I agree with you completly!
dude im starting to have mania form all the drugs ive been doing i belive that im a higher power than every one else and i can do all this cool shit when really i cant but it seems like i do and i fucking love it and im going to do more drugs to make me go even more crazy its fucking trippy
Depression an emotional blessing ? I agree it is a part of all of us and is part of the human experience . But you are arrogant to claim you are depression free and that community and the clergy are the answer ! I am not a man of science nor religon but a callaboration of all can be valuable.
I am bipolar class 2, not as bad as class 1, and have felt like an actual god when I once took a legal gym supplement. It was an amazing mania but the low put me straight into a serious depressive state strt after. I agree drugs are NOT the solution because they cause more severe and intense depressive periods after the affects wear off. So anyone like me with this condition please dont take ANY drugs, legal or illegal- They will make your condition far more terrible and possibly even pernament.
My wake up call was learning that the propaganda of the world system must make us feel inferior if we dont compulsively consume. The meds were worse than the reality. I was a zombie. They want us to take massive meds go on disability and swear allegence to the stae.
They really need to script and rehearse these videos. I mean, I like them, they're good, but... the way that mess up all the time makes the thing look like a big, long blooper real. Still, thumbs up for the message.
it is the higher self. We mostly know about the sub conscious mind and the conscious mind, hardly talk about the metaconsciousness. That's left to mystical experiences and doesn't fit into this mechanical objective healthy view the establishment has been pushing down people throats. How about samadhi meditation instead of prozac and ritalin? nope, then the establishment is out of business.
The people in these videos are the real solution finders. They analyse the causes and effects and find resolutions that actually work. The pharmaceutical industry attempts to do only what it's been trained to do, which requires one not to observe all aspects and ONLY find a pharmacological solution. Thank you all for the work you do, and the videos you produce. You are the kind of people in society who have always pushed boundaries and given people real solutions to societal problems.
I agree. Fuck abilify and other "mood stabilizers". They had me on that shit for a couple of weeks, thankfully I got off before I became addicted, because quite frankly it made me feel like shit. 1 year ago I took up a natural supplement program, I haven't looked back since. Cured all of my biploar symptoms and a lot of my autism symptoms without a single side effect. I mostly suffered from depression, but I think a similar regiment would work for mania.
medicinal mushrooms along with various other herbs seem to be a great alternative. I've been taking reishi mushroom and astragalus root for the past month and can really tell a deference in my mood and even my OCD is not as bad. Look into it.
Your interpretation of real world (=believe, religion) is not interesting, I get my own, like every one of us. It is more useful to watch people who know what they are talking a bout. Things with knowledge. This can’t be educational, so what’s that? Entertainment?
Your feelings are truth 100%, even if you hallucinate. And that I know not believe.
@goorackerelite no. not at all. what the hell are you talking about? this stuff really affects people's lives and isn't some spiritual experience. Dont talk about things you have not experienced and have no clue about.
Drugs are a business, they don't want to cure anything, just cover the symptoms and keep selling the drugs, or cause more symptoms so they can make more money. Psyche is another word for spirit, you must heal the spiritual illness to cure the psychological symptoms.
I have more respect for prostitutes than psychiatrists.
Behavioral science is pseudoscience because you can’t objectively measure “behavior”. A bunch of quacks meet up in a conference room and vote on what’s an illness or not, and their final collaboration becomes the DSM book.
Ya know it seems like when people have odd behaivor or they are going through something, right away someone puts a diagnosis with their behaivor. Example, bi-polar. The fact is everyone usually goes through depression, and I believe sometimes we almost need that depression to learn a really important life lesson. It shapes our charactor in the long run. If someone has had it for years, they most likely aren't happy with their life and need to change it. Medication seems to just cover up.
The ultimate goal is to get your higher self, or soul to take the wheel, and let your mind and body be the temporary navigation suit that it really is. When the mind takes over, you get stuck on a wave of static that blurs this communication, and your emotions are your spiritual connections way of telling you this. When the connection to your true self is found, you will naturally know what to put and not to put into your physical body to keep it healthy.
Wonderful tale..thank you for sharing..I agree that drugs are not the answer as it's more and more apparent the business is just to take advantage of a certain group of people to prey upon so they can profit to satisfy their greed.
Good video, I believe from experience, depression is sickness of the soul, time for growth...and come out stronger, happier. Have been off meds over 2 years. One love :)
Have thought about becoming drug free as it has been since 1972 that I started down this long road of trial and error drug therapies. I am pleased to hear of your story and hope to make mine as understood to my family and friends.
this is quite funny in an ironic way. he's giving us 'advice' about not taking drugs for bipolar yet he can't even talk straight/talks as if he isn't the most mentally healthy person. but yeah... to not give a truly manic/psychotic bipolar patient drugs would be cruel and unusual punishment.
@vapidwords I could imagine if he were on a course of drugs in some years previous that some of them may have caused a substantial amount of damage to the brain in the least, but in the typical case, probably dreadful liver damage. He's brave and can work through mistakes, I see.
In the end the whole serotonin theory is proven to be untrue as there are people who have been discovered with a "flaw" of no serotonin and yet they do not fall into depression.. they just have erratic sleep patterns.
@vapidwords You can be mentally healthy and not well spoken. Sometimes people get the jitters when they're on film. The point is, he feels great now and learned to deal with his issues. People who are bipolar need to re-evaluate their lives and find out what it is they really want to do and go for it.
@Cstrife234 you're right and i agree... he has a funny name too though, lol. keith juhnke, aka junkie, lol. anyway, ad hominems aside, he gives pretty good insight although rejecting pharmaceutical drugs altogether is retarded, especially in cases where pharmaceutical drugs can be of great benefit to a person.
I have been off meds almost 5 years now, I took med's since I was a child so about 20 years worth of damage was done. Fortunately now I am better than ever . Through my experiences and watching my BF who is also Bipolar I have learned so much of this illness is controllable . I do not believe it will go away and I am not sure I could ever hold a FT job even meds will not change that. My diet and low stress lifestyle has made all the difference. Eat whole foods and get rid of bad relationships
i agree my experiences with hospitals were terrible unfortunately now i am drug addict (antidepressants) i dont take them much 20mg xetanor and zalasta 5mg to sleep veeeery long , i just cant agree with you that everything is cureable i have seen people zombies even over the internet for many years they have spent in hospitals and taking drugs this is disaster this is terrible and sad - they will never be cured that is terrible i am considering quiting with antidepresants but the process will ..

I understand what you are saying....I was diagnosed with BP after losing my son in
2005. I think I had a problem before however, the loss of my son changed me
into severe depression. I am not on medication. I just don't want to go that way.
Hopefully my journey with Depression with connect me with a deeper understanding.

If your production value is so low it is distracting someone didn't do their job.
That's not negative...that is both constructive and help criticism.
Not that cults deserve help or anything like that.

Pharmaceuticals engineered by man are, for the most part, bad news for humans and their spirituality.
However, natural herbs and entheogens taken with care and proper education can and do have a dramatic positive impact upon the human spirit.
