  • I have a trailer with 8 year old decals. Ill let you try it on there. If it works you have yourself a selling video and I have a clean trailer.

  • My main concern is to not damage my customers car. Speed is secondary.

  • Do you have advice on removing old lettering decal glue on a canvas awning ? I'm worried the solvent might hurt the awning .

  • so where can we get that sprat at??

  • All I can say is use a heat gun and goof off and your good for stripping 10 year old vinyl, which I just did today

  • SPIT THE BLOODY CHEWING GUM OUT

  • Try one that have been on 10 years!!!....not so easy.

  • yeah it had been on there what??? ten minutes???

  • @bookmanpc A couple weeks, long enough that it left the adhesive when removed, but then you can see that ,right?

  • For adhesive, you can just use um.... Goo Gone too, get it at your local $.99 store. Right?

  • @24okay sure, goo whatever and a lot of work will do it eventually.

  • Karnage 542, who would screw up the paint on a 08 Hummer for this ???thousands of monthly customers will back it up, ask at signs101 or letterville.

    Grip time man!

  • We have no formal test results on carbon fiber, though its safe for use with fiberglass, polycarbonate (when following time restraints) so a test on inconspicous area would answer your question.

I'm sure it would be safe to use.

  • Is that safe for un-painted clear coated carbon fiber? I used 3m paint protection film. I removed it and it left a nasty adhesive residue behind.

  • Not at all my friend! If you had tried it ,you would know this.

Rapid Remover is very safe on paint, follow instructions for easy removals.

  • talk about messing up your paint

  • Heat Gun

Turps or Wax & Grease remover

    will do the job also!!

  • @KoconutZ15 Just depends on how hard you like to work!

  • @KoconutZ15 You use turpentine and your paint will come off too, same with lacquer thinner or acetone. If you use gasoline it will dry the body of the paint over time. You can use kerosene, mineral spirits, naptha or lighter fluid (which is mostly naptha mixed with benzine to make it flash easier) as they are oily based solvents. Goo Gone is a little rough on paint especially on the clear coat.

  • a blow dryer works wonders as well!
