M9s are gay imho....although it is a blowback one, you have a double action trigger that has to cock the hammer with every shot, as the slide does not fully reset it, and the stupid slide takes some time to reset...well these are things i noticed on any M98 i saw

@jerro95 it's gas with no electrics, so its fine as all that happens is gas goes in to a sealed chamber, which water cant get in... unless your magazine is dodgy- then it would be very, very bad.

Dudes, I've got this gun and its extremely good!!! I will get it over a lot of airsoft pistols. (I have shot the TM Glock17, TM P226, KJW P226 and the TM desert warrior and the M9 is the best. Yesterday at an airsoft game I got 3 headshots in a row with it in CQB. THAT GUY WAS SO PISSED!!!!!!!! LOL

its green gas but you can buy a Propane adaptor for it

yeah, dude i dont really suggest CO2 for this pistol. i shot it 4 times and the o-ring in the mag broke and its almost impossible to take the mag apart and replace the o-ring. now the mag leaks. co2 is powerful, but its way to volatile.

cause i know you shoud be careful when using propane with TMs cause they have plastc slides and will most likely snap off the gun when fired

naw, dude i meant i bought the gun with a CO2 mag that accepts co2 cartridges. and believe me, if you do get one of those, prepare for a ripped o-ring. Now i dont know whether to get another co2 mag and take the chance or not. I dont want green gas cuz its inconvenient and not as powerful as CO2. either way its gonna cost $35. *sigh* unless i can find out a way to replace the oring

Its gas, its not like an AEG or a spring pistol where the inside's can get rusted, plus pistols are easier to take apart to get the water out

What you picture as rust is because of iron metal being used. Most airsoft guns use other types of metals and plastics that may oxidize but won't necessarilly rust unless there is iron present. It is more of a lubrication issue, and gas guns are much easier to strip down than AEG's.

used silicon spray and ah multi oil. de multi oil is against the corrosion, but makes that the gun can't fire well. so ih have to spray the area's where slide and frame touch each other with silicon spray. tahts all about

Awesome video, thanks for posting!

I fired my old CO2 blowback PPK in a big sink.. The sound it makes is awesome, deep, and reverberating. You can see the BBs float and come to a stop. Couple days later, the trigger group got screwed up, a metal piece flew out the back. Perhaps not related to the water, or the water the just sped up the process, since Ive put around 15,000 shots through the gun, and did some repairs.

Either way, its fun to do, by all means have fun.
