I would never forget the first time I heard this song in the 80's . A friend introduced to this young Dominican mind and I was absorbed by the beauty lyrics and melodies Breathless.!!!
Love You More Than You'll Ever Know - Blood, Sweat & Tears [New York City, New York] - 1967 - "AMG Pick. One of the true lost classics of the late '60s, 'I Love You More Than You'll Ever Know' was essentially the song that introduced Blood, Sweat & Tears to the world. One of their BEST and my favorites! Truly a 'soundtrack of my life.'" - Rare & Well Done: The Greatest And Most Obscure Recordings 1964-2001 (Well Done) (Columbia/Legacy) (Disc 2)-2001.
Lots of people don't even know there was a BS & T before Clayton-Thomas joined. I got into them because I'd loved the Blues Project and Kooper & Katz were in them--personally, I'll take that first album any day....WNEW in NY liked it too,
@kfirmedia Excellent comment! Can't someone put this recording up on YouTube with the awesome sound quality of this video, but without the tedious parade of "sexy" luv pics? The album cover will do just fine. Best to leave the rest to our imagination, as inspired by the song.
You NEVER hear this one on "classic rock radio" anymore. When I was a kid in the mid-'80s and listening to KLSX 97.1 here in So Cal, they played this one and "I Can't Quit Her" frequently. They don't even play BS&T at all anymore (not that I'm a huge fan....more of a Chicago fan). You'll hear the edited down version of "Spinning Wheel" or "You've Made Me So Very Happy" on either KOLA 99.9 or K-EARTH 101.1. The FCC has totally f*%cked radio up!

Al Kooper was/is one of greatest influences in popular music, from Bob Dylan, Blues Project, BST. Thanks for the effort
