This might be true because Vic even said at the end of Vice City Stories that he wanted out of the drug business for good. It wouldn't make sense for him to do this deal, ah well. @Caluma122 Vice city is basically a big mash up of "Carlito's Way" Rosenberg is basically taken straight from that film aswell as the Malibu club, "Goodfellas" Ray Liotta the voice of Tommy Vercetti plays the lead in it, "Scarface" it has the Miami setting and the mansion at the end is basically the same as Diaz's.

I'm sure there are loads more Gangster Film influences aswell but those 3 are probably the bigest.

@Caluma122 Oh yeah it's not a bad thing, if they would have avoided all these references the game would have been much less interesting, if you were aware of them before you played or not.

Fantastic game in every aspect, Other games have come along with better graphics and more in depth game play but I have yet to find a game that is more flat out enjoyable than Vice City was when I got it on release day.
