when you hit A while holding the stick in a direction without smashing it. A directional attack. Every character has a Ftilt, Utilt and Dtilt. All three of Snake's tilts are godly.
not really, it takes fast reaction time, VERY precise timing, and u have to hit A LOT to build up damage with metaknight. also, his super smash isnt overpowered like most ppl's favorite characters (fox, lucas, pit, sonic) because if ur gud at brawl u can dodge the cape most of the time

SO, what I mean is, chars at the bottom ARE actually worse than the ones at the top. Of course, it does depend on the player, but take 2 players of the same skill level, one chooses the lowest char on the tier list and the other chooses the highest 1, chances are the player with the higher tier char will win. The Snake was playing a little defensive and what he should of done was forgot about his homing missiles and attempted to use his range factor over metaknights. He is seriously out outmaneuvered by metaknight but he has a huge range advantage

Well then you havn't faced Mr. Game and Watch and I...Maybe over Wifi some time. Look for a light blue Mr. Game and Watch who rings his bell when time is up.
That snake isn't very smart...he didn't use most of his good techniques. MetaKnight's easy to be good with. Snake is quite a challenge to use his entire arsenal with efficiency.
(This is my opinion) It is sorta an unfair fight between the 2. Ive seen some amazing snake players who own out in 1v1 but i mainly see him do better in multiplayer.

i just think that the type of gamestyle in the games he is in does not match with nintendo style. i mean he generally works with weapons which is used in super smash bros but not for a WHOLE arsenal.
snake isnt bad...no char is bad its just how you play with them... believe me my primary chars are snake and toon link... pretty much the highest learning curves in the game lol
it's somewhat impossible to use snake in a serious match, it's not that he doesn't suck, it's just that he lacks so much and has abilities that others don't that hardly make up for these drawbacks.
He's good, but hard to use at first. Personally I wouldnt recommend him in a 1v1 match since most of his moves are slow to use. Unless you're fighting Ike, who is even slower.
Marth, not so much. He's a fairly easy character to Master, other than maybe his Dancing Blade or whatever. I agree with all of the others though (Sonic is my personal favourite)
Metaknight is only great for racking damage. He does not have many great KO'ing moves.
Snake is best when used with strategy. Oh, and he's best in crowded quarters. It's kinda hard to see a hidden mine when you have 3 people trying to kill you, no?

Meta Knight= 1v1 char
Snake=Multiplayer
(This is my opinion) It is sorta an unfair fight between the 2. Ive seen some amazing snake players who own out in 1v1 but i mainly see him do better in multiplayer.

i just feel that even though i heard he was in a nes game, he was with playstation for the rest of the time right?
i just think that the type of gamestyle in the games he is in does not match with nintendo style. i mean he generally works with weapons which is used in super smash bros but not for a WHOLE arsenal.
I dont mean to offend any solid snake fans!

It's because there are many many problems with Snake.
Snake's abilities are limited the ground movement which is pretty bad in brawl since air melee occurs a lot more
He's smashes are strong but from the charge to the recovery it's awful, really awful
Snake is only good in multiplayer melee, and even then, he's only limited as a camper, so stages like FD is out of the question.

snake isnt bad...no char is bad its just how you play with them... believe me my primary chars are snake and toon link... pretty much the highest learning curves in the game lol

toon link is one of my best.
it's somewhat impossible to use snake in a serious match, it's not that he doesn't suck, it's just that he lacks so much and has abilities that others don't that hardly make up for these drawbacks.

he is. His smashes especially his forward smashes are strong. He pounds really hard.

Ike plays as slow as lucario which you can pretty much say is like a +1 speed Ganondorf. I mean their sort of tankish characters.
Ike is the type of character who smashes really hard, and a lot of his attacks are really good.

He's good, but hard to use at first. Personally I wouldnt recommend him in a 1v1 match since most of his moves are slow to use. Unless you're fighting Ike, who is even slower.

falcon is not for advanced players.....DK, Snake, Link, and Marth, and somewhat Sonic and jiggly puff are for advanced players

Marth, not so much. He's a fairly easy character to Master, other than maybe his Dancing Blade or whatever. I agree with all of the others though (Sonic is my personal favourite)

Metaknight is only great for racking damage. He does not have many great KO'ing moves.
Snake is best when used with strategy. Oh, and he's best in crowded quarters. It's kinda hard to see a hidden mine when you have 3 people trying to kill you, no?
