Ok, well, I guess the 'real' Korn is dead, now a part of rock history. But that might not be all bad. You never know where this new sound might lead. I personally do not like it, at least not yet, but it may grow on me. Now, the Real Korn: 1. Sick, sick sound! 2. Bad ass breakdowns 3. Creepy, eerie atmosphere , and 4. They were Brilliant! What it felt like to me: A spooky, evil scarecrow in a field of corn, feels like halloween horror movie or something. It's that slap bass that does it

Unfortunately they can't please everyone, but I like it. I know some people will find it boring, or that it doesn't work. But remember, this is the first time this combination has been mixed. Imagine what can be achieved after more experience, time, practice and newer influences emerge. If this twist on the music genres catches on, I imagine it to turn out pretty epic, even more so than this. And this shit rocks already.

@halfsac21 I have to agree. I think the problem lies with the producers. It sounds to me like they're struggling to train themselves into dubstep since it's just now getting a bigger following, so they're not all that experienced and the studio work I've heard so far with it tends to suck, whereas artists who have been doing it for years are more experienced, and I think they should be the ones training them on mixing.

I have to admit, I stopped being a Korn fan during the release of "Issues". Since then, I've heard a song every then and now, but never found the material as compelling as I once did when I first discovered the band.

This song, however, I don't mind. I hate dub step, and yet this concoction of sound seems to be working. Definitely still above the current Indy shit movement. Good job, Korn.
