@ronaldmarietindall Every site I've ever played has delivered bad beats. In real life you get bad beats. When you play fish that will call anything it happens all the time. Gotta know your opponent.
i agree with xphilopiax you should definately check the turn there for pot control on the turn in the tournament hand because you can only beat a flush draw and your hand has some showdown value by you hitting the Q on the river
On the first hand, though, I would have check on the river right behind him/her because of the way it played out, the only hand I would put them on is a diamond flush draw. If they had checked raised the river, it would've been a difficult call. I think they had mid pockets, though.
