Julian24151 I know Salukis well and have one at the moment. Hunting dog or not, it is wrong, and entirely unneccesary, to hurt them, and it does not toughen them up.

Poor Saluki, I have lived with salukis since 1976, and I agree with jacquitiger :(. Though this is a hunting dog it doesn't mean they like to be pulled in their ears, it hurts and it's not what I mean with "playing"

@juliacball I said it to the other guy and ill tell u too...he's not exactly hurting the puppy that much, or else if the puppy was scared the tail would be in between his/her legs....The guy is toughening the puppy up because it is a Saluki Hunting Dog, and the dogs have to stay tough and fit, Believe me its not abuse
