I'm very hit or miss with Kevin Smith. Like Clerks, Love Mallrats, Didn't like Chasing Amy, "meh" about Dogma, liked Jay and Silent bob strike back, hated Jersey Girl, Loved Clerks 2, liked Zack and Miri. Haven't seen Cop Out but it looked like shit.

Kevin Smith is tapped out...while this was a good movie, it was basically a Judd Apatow movie, with only a few Star Wars references to make it a bit like Kevin Smith. Second, he wrote Batman: Cacophoney which sucked MAJOR BALLS and was a complete rehash of every Joker/Batman relationship study. And now, he did Cop Out which is by far the WORST film of 2010, and that is saying a lot (PoP, Jonah Hex, Get Him to the Greek).

This film was awesome. The dialogue, which is one of Kevin Smith's strong suits was just as sharp as ever. I also loved the pure Kevin Smith humor (i.e. the "anal scene" near the end of the movie) I saw it when it was in theaters and it was hilarious. I rented it when it came out on DVD and it was still hilarious to me.

P.S. If anything Judd Apatow is a Kevin Smith clone

I Saw the movie last night and I really liked it; I don't want Kevin Smith to change his style. The movie did run out of steam towards the end, but before that I laughed real hard a couple of times. And Jason Mewes is one of the funniest motherfuckers alive.

I will grant you this movie is not for everybody. For Kevin Smith fans it's a strong matinee, for everyone else it's a good rental.

Seth Rogen's performance always stays the same. No improvement.

I seated myself to watch the whole movie. It was actually not worth my time to change my opinion over Rogen's movies.

All he did to build the funny element is his outrageous number of swearing and showing his butt.

Did you just type it in in the search box? because if so, yeah you'd just get a trailer, but there is a section labled "audio reviews" where you should find it, I know because I used to wonder were a lot of movie reviews from them were, then I found out about the audio reviews.
